My house recently got robbed and I wanted to find out the replacement cost of a laptop. I call Dell Sales, and get transferred to tech support immediately.
I explain I want a quote on a new laptop, they transfer me to hardware support. I tell them I want sales… they bring me to the receptionist… who then transfers me back to support.
At that point I got angry and started yelling at the agent. Transfer me to SALES and ONLY SALES.
Transferred back to receptionist… DELL HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!
35 minutes later.. 35 fucking minutes! I reach sales, but its not online sales so they cant give me a quote. That was very odd, but anyway, finally after 45 minutes I get someone to give me a quote, which took 2 minutes to do.
During this time, as I was getting frustrated, they were saying “sir, don’t be rude… let me transfer you.” “TO WHERE!??!!?!! NOT SUPPORT, NOT HARDWARE SUPPORT! I DON’T EVEN HAVE A FUCKING COMPUTER ANYMORE.”
“Okay, hold on.. I will transfer you.” “WHERE?” *too late, i am in the transfer queue back to the receptionist.
If you have to call Dell, be warned.. you are in for a horrible experience.
